Shannon Ryan (she/they) is a visual artist, poet, and educator based in Easton, Maryland.

She is currently a graduate student at Salisbury University, working to earn her Master of Arts in English - Creative Writing. They are also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Salisbury University teaching ENGL 103 - Composition and Research.

 

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Salisbury University where she majored in both English - Creative Writing as well as Two-Dimensional Studio Art.

 

Her poems are forthcoming in Passages North, and have appeared recently in The Shore, Asterism, and Beaver Magazine. Their photography can also be found in The Shore. She is a reader for Poet Lore and is currently enjoying Victoria Chang's Obit.
